Dennis Rubba Lecture- 11/7/14

Dennis Rubba, of StudioINSITE, gave an inspiring lecture to students at Colorado State University this past Friday, November 7th. Dennis spoke of his twenty-eight years working as a landscape architect, beginning when he graduated from CSU's Landscape Architecture program in 1986. After working at Civitas (another well-known, Denver firm), he chose to continue his education at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, then went on to start his own Landscape Architecture firm. He began StudioINSITE in his basement with three partners, and today the firm is known internationally for its award-winning work. Dennis mentioned that what he learned at CSU has never left him, and he considers the fundamental hand-drawing skills from his education to be a critical part of design.

StudioINSITE's most popular projects include The Marine Corps Museum, the recent Denver International Airport developments, and the Anschutz Medical campus in Aurora, Colorado.
